Both Marcel Galiègue and Jérôme Naulais studied the Trombone at the Paris Conservatoire. Both musicians have performed in a large number of concerts and recordings and have taken part in many international Master Classes. Their collaboration forPlein Vent, therefore, makes for a well-informed compilation.

As suggested by the title,Plein Ventfocuses on breath control. With a typical performance lasting around three minutes and ten seconds, this Trombone work is a delightful, alternative piece for young trombonists. Plein Ventis a delightful addition to the intermediate Trombone repertoire.
